Battle of Coral Gate is a 2-player Kings of War Starter Set between the Forces of the Abyss and Trident Realm of Neritica

About

Battle for the Coral Gate introduces players to the aquatic military of the Trident Realm, pitted against an ancient threat – the hellish Forces of The Abyss. The box is jam-packed with 74 highly-detailed Kings of War miniatures, a starter guide and all the rules needed to play.

This 2-Player Starter Set is a great place for both tabletop beginners and wargaming veterans to begin their Kings of War journey, set in the fantasy world of Pannithor.

Lore Background

The treacherous waters surrounding the Brokenwall Islands are home to an unseen fortress of sorts – a vast portal-like reef known to the Neriticans as the Coral Gate. From here, the Trident Realm monitors every ship that traverses the surface of their territory, and holds a bulwark against the vile influence of the Infernal Vent - an entrance deep under the sea, that leads to hell.

Attacking the Trident Realm across a wide front, the great archfiend, the Lord of Lies has mustered a massive army to assault the Coral Gate, and stop the forces based there from aiding their beleaguered allies elsewhere. The great naiad Centurion Glozmyrl finds herself face pitted against an old foe, a demonic seductress known as Bloodwing.

While these two spar and maneuver their forces into position, they have dispatched their captains to secure ground that will give them the advantage in the upcoming war. Naarrghh the Depth Horror Eternal, leads his small warband out to stop the Efreet Tu’Lor’Gar from gaining the upper hand and flanking the main Neritican forces...
