Gigas (trident realm of neritica)

Gigas are monstrous crab-like creatures with hard shells that defect most weapons, and deadly pincer-like claws that can crush and slice through the thickest armour.

About

Used as defensive screens for the more lightly armoured troops by Neritican commanders.

Kings of War Appearances

Gigas were introduced as a Large Infantry unit in 2.0 - Uncharted Empires 2nd Edition Rulebook for the Trident Realms which has continued into 3rd Edition.

Gigas were changed to a Large Infantry type of unit from an Monstrous Infantry type in 3rd edition.

Second Edition Biography

The deadly pincer-like claws of these huge crustaceans can crush and slice through even the thickest plate armour while their own natural protection makes them a fearsome foe.
